I admit it. Before Memorial Day, I noticed the US flag at the Buffalo Soldier Monument was unserviceable. I waited until after the holiday, and when I saw it had not been replaced, I sent a note to the Garrison Command. It got fixed, quickly. It's a 24 hour flag, easy to overlook that sort of thing, but hey, we're an Army post, right? Retired CNO Admiral Kelso died recently, and military installations have their flags at half-mast in his honor. Including us. Including the Buffalo Soldier...
