Artfully understated press release. And what isn't stated is significant, in terms of aircraft losses. If it wasn't, there wouldn't have been any reassurance that air operations would be unaffected. Because people who know people at Camp Bastion have already heard about the aircraft losses from email, etc.
And I love the way battle reports have become police reports. Everything is an "incident under investigation..."
