Female Soldiers Sue U.S. in Challenge to Combat Limits

Argghhh!
Honestly, this took about a month longer than I expected. I say toss the entire personnel policy of the Armed Forces to the Courts. These two women are selfishly out for themselves. Our black-robed bretheren are all smarter and better educated than we are, and, solons that they are, will be impartial judges on the merits. And, given the bit about damaging future earnings, etc, I think the suit should be expanded to promotion policy as well. I know I was screwed, and dammit, it wasn't fair, etiher.

And as we all know, combat outcomes not based on fairness just aren't socially just.

All snarkage aside - we'll know people are serious about this when we set gender-immaterial physical standards for the close-combat jobs.  There can't be any gender-norming there.  Other armies have done it (Canada, for example) but for the nonce, I don't trust our PolMil leadership on that issue.
