Obie and entourage got here last night to RON at Karzai's palace. I figgered there'd be fireworks this morning in Kabul to jolt him out of bed.
Four bombs just down the road a piece in "Green Village," where the contractor overflow stays (when there's a contractor overflow, as opposed to the contractor dearth right now). No word on small arms fire, but the Mongolians in the QRF went trotting down the hall about a half hour ago.
*No* sirens.
I was sorta looking forward to a dull day to catch up on paperwork...
I told you the other side hadn't gotten the memo from State.
