Today, as I turned from Meagher to 211th, I got a good view into the Hayfield. There, a white, vaguely dog-shaped blob was on alert, facing the woods, creek and cliff. Behind that blob, now obvious as Buffy, were all 17 of the goats (Stewart being in the garage because of his cast, and Sammy being in Piddler's Green). As Buffy saw me approach, she took off on an intercept course to put herself between me and the goats.
The goats took off behind Buffy, with the kidlets bounding an leaping trying to keep up, headed for the road (the only way back to the Inner Bailey of Castle Argghhh!).
