Anyone who was a reader of this space last summer knows
I lost my brother from another mother last year to cancer.
One thing Preston had great pride in was his support of Special Olympics by his participation in the Polar Bear Plunge.
This year his daughter Tory is stepping into Preston's shoes and taking the plunge for him.
Last time you heard from me I was planning a birthday party for my dad, Preston. I'm contacting you again now because this Saturday I'm participating in the Polar Plunge here in Columbia with a team in honor of my dad. Preston took the icy Plunge every year for charity. This year I've taken his place and will dive into frigid waters in his memory and to benefit the Special Olympics. Please help me raise money for the Special Olympics in memory of one of our favorite people, Preston Sights. Every little bit helps but if you can't donate perhaps you could forward this email to your friends and business associates who knew Preston. I truly appreciate your support.
