As is common with weapons of it's pre-WWII era, the thing is built like a tank, and massive.  The only real cosmetic difference between this one and one in original condition is this one is parkerized vice blued, and has an extension welded to the barrel in order to meet legal requirements for barrel length, so as not to have to be registered as a "short-barrelled rifle" under the NFA, National Firearms Act.

We have both the drum and stick mags for it.  I shot it this past weekend, and, unlike many of these kinds of conversions, this one is reliable and accurate.  I was shooting at the steel silouhette targets at 100m - and "pinged" every time, from the first shot of 30.  Not bad for a 9mm subgun.  Of course, it really is more like a 9mm rifle...
