Ever since Congress suffered a rectal-crainial infarct (simply the first of many, to be sure) and burped for a resolution authorizing the raising of a new military formation, we've suffered these braggarts. Using that damned document from the Continental Congress, Captain Samuel Nicholas swept through the bars and brothels of Philadelphia and formed two battalions of Continental Marines on 10 November 1775 to serve as naval infantry. They've been annoying us for 236 years now, despite the best efforts of
Secretary of Defense Louis Johnson to eradicate them from the defense establishment. Damn Kim il-Sung, anyway.
