Representative Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), regarding the 74 page Budget Control Act:
Now there is some useful knowledge to have about the Democrat caucus in Congress. If you use small words, large type, and throw in pictures, they'll read legislation, and try to understand it, if it's, oh, pamphlet-sized.
I thought most of them were my age, but apparently, they represent the leading edge of the ADD generation, y'know, the ones who can't read anything book length, like, oh, say... the Affordable Care Act, which came in Tolstoy-sized at 2,000+ pages. Nope, They'll take the comic book version, plz.
I'm tempted to buy this and have it sent to Representative Lee's office -

Except that would bring the wrath of HLD on my head - as a terrorist threat from a deranged racist veteran.
