That is, indeed, a Gewehr 91 Artillery Carbine. This was a purpose-built rifle, and the rarest production version of the "Commission 88" rifles - surpassed only by the the 88/05/14 variant of the long rifle with the arsenal/field installed welded-vice-pinned stripper clip guides modified for service in WWI. This rifle is in it's proper, original, unmodified condition. So, what's the twisty-minded "Armorer" flavor to this Whatziss? It's a *perfect* Armorer-weapon. 1.
