Argghhh!
What a difference a few decades makes...  What Saddam Hussein called "The Mother of all Battles" opened with the bombs falling on Baghdad. At least it started far as Saddam was concerned, as there were some Iraqi radar operators who had already gotten their virgins as SpecOps and Apaches kicked open a few corridors for the non-stealthy sorties bearing down on his armed forces.  And of course the Kuwaitis and veterans of the Battle of Khafji *also* had a different perspective - but for most of us, and the world, the war started that day.Young men and women who were leading their units...
