Today's Medal of Honor Moment for 27 April

There are six Medals awarded for actions on this day, none of them posthumous.  There are two naval lifesaving awards, one of which is a second award.  The Medals span the Civil War, two Interim Award periods (which are exclusively naval lifesaving awards) and the Philippine Insurrection.Civil WarBURRITT, WILLIAM W.
