Today's Medal of Honor Moment for 13 January

Civil WarToday is a pretty light day for the Medal, and all the awards were in the 19th century era.  None were posthumous.Civil War.  There are several Medals that are for actions on this date, but they span several days from December through January, all at Fort Fisher.  They will appear on 15 January, the closing date of the citation.  Quartermaster Stevens is the exception, with his Medal solely for actions on the 13th.STEVENS, DANIEL D.
