Sony Reveals Plan to End the PS4Sony has revealed that it's planning to close down this console.

PlayStation 4. In 2013, when it first came out, the PS4 has since become one of the company's most profitable consoles, but also one of the top-selling video game platforms ever. However, Sony is now looking to sell the PS5 as its primary hardware, which means that the PS4 is naturally coming to its end. With the new information from Sony, we have an idea of what time the PS4 may officially be going to the side.

In Sony's most recent financial report, it was specified that games on PS4 will disappear by 2025. However, this doesn't mean that the old PS4 games will not be available for purchase, but Sony intends to finish releasing new titles for PlayStation 4 by this time. Instead 2025, Sony has estimated that the bulk of its revenues from games will stem directly from PlayStation 5, with titles on PC and mobile devices also contributing in the other half of its earnings.

All in all, this should not be a surprise given that the PS5 is expected to be Sony's primary priority in the years to come. Yet, it's important that right now that the PS4 is a device that Sony is still developing and releasing games for buy diablo 2 resurrected items.
