Dispatch 22: Telecommunications in United States is Terrible

Just finished interview with my friend Sargis Sangari who is running for US Congress. Very important that Americans like Sargis gain seats and work to turn this berg around.

Note: you may have heard me say for years that telecommunications in the United States is pathetic compared to most countries I travel in over the past twenty years. I constantly have telecommunications problems when communicating with Americans both when I am in America, and when overseas.

Now, one might say, "But Michael! Of course you have problems communicating from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Philippines, 20x other countries -- when calling America! It's OVERSEAS!" Bullshit.

I communicate with people who are in other countries seven days per week. Say, I am in Korea or China communicating with people in Thailand, Taiwan, or Japan, or America. And the only call that has a problem is to America. Over and over and over.

We invented most of this stuff and yet our systems are like dixie cups and waxed string.

And now that I am in United States, constant communications problems. For instance, just had interview with Sargis which was severely disrupted. Americans who do no travel internationally do not seem to understand that we are running on clogged-arteries. This damages our economy.

Our airports are pathetic. Our telecommunications sucks. This hurts our economy.

VOTE!
