Book Review- This time we win by Jim Robbins
Jim Robbins writes for the Washington Times and other pubs and he's also the guy who let's me come and play with his Masters in Terrorism course as a guest evaluator. It is fun to see how creative and how much more intelligent than our real enemies...

Counter pirates like we counter terrorists

Dugway Lockdown Lifted?
Interesting. Dugway Proving Grounds went on lockdown last night for a "serious concern" and and has apparently just lifted the lockdown about an hour ago. Dugway serves a number of functions, including being the site of testing related to chemical...

Walking the talk
It's easy to say you support the troops, plenty of people simply mouth the words as a platitude. Sometimes you see a really good example though and most of the time that also tells you about that person. Marco Rubio is one of the good guys and I can't...

Australia's human mascot
He doesn't like to mention it, mostly because the koala bear coatume they make him dance around in is far too adorable. But our own Matty O' Blackfive shares a birthday with the Aussies. So give him some shite love in the comments. Happy Birthday...

Living the donkey life
Marathon Pundit has a touching tale of a Man and his donkey, (you thought it was more Yon eh? heh). Couldn't resist that one, but it is actually about Marines and a donkey mascot. Bring me your huddled equines, oh just go read about Smoke the Donkey...

Lebanon now a terrorist state
While you may have been busy with important prep for Obama's speech tonight, the country of Lebanon just left the building. Well they made Hezbollah's chosen candidate Prime Minister, and that is pretty bad news. There was little enough control...

The Last Flight Before Graduation
You have to fly your bird through a canyon: ...without being acquired visually, accoustically, electronically, or thermally, and have sufficient fuel to perform the mission when you get there. The video is better than caffeine. Lots of pilot speak in...
