One wonders how one can *fail* to see the Supertanker coming abeam (or whatever the proper nautical term is)... I'm guessing there'll be a command berth opening up soon. This pic enhugifies by clicking on it. Guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) was damaged in a collision with the Japanese owned bulk oil tanker M/V Otowasan in the Strait of Hormuz, Aug., 12. No personnel on either vessel were reported injured. Porter is on a scheduled deployment to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility...

It's a real issue worthy of study and discussion.But I find the apparent bias annoying, and rather ahistorical... which is interesting, given that one of the authors is a Ph.D carrying historian at Kansas University. I don't know Colonel (ret'd) Benson.A rather disturbing article from Small Wars Journal regarding staring into the abyss of insurrection in the United States. One wonders why Colonel Benson and Dr Weber chose "right wing ideologues motivate by Tea Party ideals"...
