June 2012 - Argghhh!

If you were an Army Cold Warrior, and spent time as a combat arms type in Germany, you spend some time (or, in the case of artillerymen, a *lot* of time) at Grafenwoehr Training Area. Of course now, a lot of you hot warriors live there at Vilseck, or motor in, or drop in (literally) for training. One of the neat things about Graf was in the HQs building, they had pictures of all the commanders, with a notable uniform change occuring abruptly in 1945. IIRC, the uniforms changed again in the late 90's...

Mike Russo, AKA Fishmugger, dropped by yesterday. The Jersey Boy did it right, too - he bore gifts of wine, small-batch Calvados, small-batch rum, ammunition, and a historical artifact for the Castle Holdings. And his silly hat. A good time was had, and better times in the future are in store!...

Our humble abode has just about the same square footage as your typical Fast Attack Submarine...
