Normally, we have one or two sad little sign-holders outside the gate of the Fort once or twice a week since PFC Manning got shipped here for safe storage pending his trial (though, I admit, one does have to wonder about the lack of speedy justice here and with Major Hasan, but those are rants for a different time). But now we're gonna have a rally and everything! Finally, we get some of that traffic-snarling crap you easterners get to play with all the time! And people are going to drive in...

This weekend was the opening of the Farmer's Market for SWWBO, and a time for maintenance of the Range and Arms Room of Argghhh! Needful stuff, as this shot of Firing Point 4 , the 150m berm shows. The current state of play is four firing points. FP1 is a 50 foot one, shot from the covered deck on the Castle Bailey. FP 2 uses the same target point, but is on ground level and serves as a 0-30 foot range for pistol. Targets have to be lower when configured this way, to ensure that rounds are impacting...
